What makes this wrought iron door exceptional:

12-Gauge Iron

Heavier than the 14-gauge industry standard. Lesser doors flex; ours doesn't.

Enhanced Security

Heavy-duty 12-gauge slab + solid welded frame. One of the most physically resistant entry doors made.

Weather Resistant

A sprayed zinc anti-corrosion base, primers, and a multi-coat finish sealed under clear coats. Stands up to extreme heat, cold, rain, and salt air.

Insulated Core

Polyurethane fill in the slab cavity drops the U-value and dampens sound.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Covered for the life of the home. First-year cosmetic coverage included.

Cut

12-gauge iron cut to size.

Forge

Scrollwork hand-bent and shaped.

Weld

Frame and scroll TIG-welded, ground smooth.

Glaze

Insulated low-E glass set behind the iron.

Finish + hang

Built up in multiple hand-inspected coats, sealed under clear coat, then pre-hung.

Iron Doors FAQ

Do wrought iron doors rust?

No. Every door starts with a sprayed zinc anti-corrosion base and a micaceous-iron primer, then gets a multi-coat finish sealed under two protective clear coats — a system built for outdoor architectural metalwork. With normal care it holds up indefinitely, and it's backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Are wrought iron doors energy efficient?

Yes. An insulated polyurethane core and low-E insulated glass block heat transfer, so the door cuts drafts and helps keep heating and cooling bills down.

How much do wrought iron doors cost?

Our wrought iron entry doors range from about $2,029 to $5,699 depending on size, glass, and design. Custom hand-forged doors are quoted to your exact spec.

Are wrought iron doors secure?

Yes. The 12-gauge steel slab and solid welded frame make it one of the most physically resistant entry doors on the market.

How much does a wrought iron door weigh?

A 60″×80″ double-door pre-hung unit weighs about 480 lbs. Two adults can hang it in about half a day.

Will a wrought iron door warp or need an overhang?

No. Steel doesn't expand or contract like wood, so the frame stays square in any climate — no overhang required.

How do you maintain a wrought iron door?

Almost no upkeep. Wipe it twice a year with a mild, vegetable-based soap. No re-staining, ever.

Can you make a custom-size iron door?

Yes. Every iron door can be hand-forged to your exact size, glass, and finish. Bring a photo, sketch, or drawing and we'll quote within 24 hours. Custom lead time is 4–6 months.
